THE recent hard weather took us a long, long way outside our comfort zone but no matter how long we have been without water, no matter how difficult it is to travel to and from our homes, none of us would swap with the unfortunate people of Haiti.

The scale of the disaster – estimates suggest that 100,000 people may have died, possibly a million homeless with three million people needing emergency relief – is beyond our comprehension.

It asks those who believe in a loving and all-knowing God challenging questions.
