A crying shame

I WISH to congratulate you for highlighting the stray dogs crisis at this particular time (December 23).

We should be ashamed we have to export our unwanted animals, particularly dogs, to England and other countries which must be commended for taking in our waifs and strays (literally). Soon rescue centres here, which are already full to bursting, will be inundated with stray and unwanted dogs and puppies. It is a crying shame.

Will people please neuter their dogs? Please don’t breed from them; there are far too many already. You will not make money selling pups.
