‘Comical’ decision that threatens our future

Irish Protestants have honoured the Ne Temere decree for decades at the cost of their own population, yet the Government repays this honour by withdrawing funding from Protestant schools. It is comical that the attorney general has only now decided that such funding is unconstitutional.

Rather than being “privileged”, Protestant schools are one of the few ways in which this minority can protect its future generations.
