Political rats can get too close for comfort

IN response to your report headlined ‘Woman was bitten on face and neck by rat on holiday’ (October 16) ...

Was the woman or the rat on holiday? If the woman was on holiday, then the story is interesting.

If the rat was on holiday, then the story is really interesting because it infers that large rodents (a) work, (b) work in a capacity that warrants lots of time off and (c) are sentient beings with a neurological system as advanced as humans, so are able to understand the concept of money, book holidays, pack, etc., etc.
