Fast food for thought

IT seems that nowhere is safe from the worldwide icon for excess fuelled by convenience.

The upcoming opening of McDonald’s newest outlet in Carrousel du Louvre has really got mouths watering, perhaps not with hunger.

Can anyone really abide by this most vulgar defacement of one of the world’s leading centres for intellect and the arts? Not to mention its position in the heart of the gastronomic universe.

The outcry from the French is wholly justified.
