Condoms on a plate

I CANNOT let Linda Kelly’s knee-jerk response (‘When condoms are not on a plate’, Letters, September 12) to Sister Annunciate Forde go without comment.

Quite reasonably, Sr Annunciate (Letters, September 9) objected to your photograph of condoms at a graduation ball. What on earth does this have to do with Ms Kelly’s recent “fact-finding” jaunt to Uganda?

Ms Kelly then goes on to lecture the good sister on the “need to talk about sex.”
