THE Bord Snip report, the Commission on Taxation recommendations, a second go at Lisbon and the prospect of the worst budget in history … the people really can only take so much.

I would suggest to the powers-that-be that they need to act a bit more Robin Hood and a bit less Sheriff of Nottingham in the way they are going about their business.

Otherwise, they’ll have some job finding anyone to join their merry men.
