U2 in Croke Park - A weekend to celebrate

U2 CAME home last night and what a homecoming it promised to be. The band, by far the most recognisable Irish faces of all time, promised their most spectacular performance yet.

Ireland’s laureates of contemporary music performing at the spiritual home of so much that is good about this country makes for a heady mix of the modern and the deeply ingrained.

Over the weekend almost a quarter of a million people will see the band in their hometown, the only city where they will give three concerts.
