Classy Clon a winner

I haven't ever written a letter to a newspaper before but I felt I should following the excellent weekend myself and my family had in Clonakilty.

I must say it is a beautiful and welcoming place and the colours of the building add to the beauty.

One special event that I attended was the Clonakilty Agricultural show.

I must say that this was marvellous. There was something for everyone and it was run really well. A special treat at the show was the band the Corrigan Brothers who played non-stop for over two hours, it was great to see all the kids singing along with their Obama song. The atmosphere was friendly and warm.

Well done Clonakility — we’ll be back.
