Battering the brothers
In his offering last week he told us the brothers at the North Monastery CBS had “left their mark” on him and his column was headlined ‘Battering brothers packed a punch well beyond the industrial schools.’
As a former Mon boy who benefited from a classical education, I’m reminded of Cicero’s question ‘cui bono’? To whose benefit is it to censure all brothers and all schools?
Does it help victims and survivors that we now have so many commentators condemning the Christian Brothers?
