A national disgrace

THE disclosure that the state is paying over €48,000,000 per year in pre-fab rental accommodation is a national disgrace.

Never mind the conditions and the health and safety issues concerning some of these buildings which the state constantly ignores.

Our children are going to a school in Clondalkin Gaelscoil Na Camoíge, the school was opened 16 years ago and since then they have been paying €100,000 a year in rent. Total costs so far have been €1.6 million — we could build a new school for that money.
