Praise for students

THERE is a lot of doom and gloom at present about the behaviour of students all over the country during rag week.

Everybody realises the students who cause problems at this time are a very small minority of those attending these colleges.

They cause so much disturbance that the bigger picture is sometimes lost.

In that context, I wish to congratulate the UCC chaplaincy for putting on so many extra masses in the Honan Chapel.

There was a full congregation and the queue for the masses was orderly and patient.

For once, let us give credit where credit is due and say well done to the students.

It is good that God is still remembered and has a place in college life.
