Centre cannot hold

IF or when this country is restored to normality, the system which brought it to its knees must be drastically changed.

The concentration of political and financial institutions in Dublin must be decentralised to the provinces as this would make them more amenable to the taxpayer who has to pay for all.

Also wealth must be distributed to poorer areas to ensure an overall recovery from this recession.

We got into this economic distaster not least because our centralised political and financial institutions in Dublin create a breeding ground for corruption

If we continue to try to solve this economic disaster with the same system that created it, then we may as well stay as we are.
