Don’t point the finger — we are all to blame

HISTORY has taught us that evil flourishes when good people stay silent.

Don’t point the finger — we are all to blame

Is this not the case with the people who run our country — our governing bodies, our religious institutions?

Is this not the reason why children are sexually abused by parents and other relatives, why the diocese of Cloyne is in the media spotlight, why there are so many gangland murders, why our financial institutions are in tatters?

We are all at fault, we are all to blame — it is no use pointing the finger at others.
