City council fails to rein in dog-owners

In addition to the hazards mentioned I would think it might also present a health risk to young children when playing in contaminated areas or when the excrement is brought home on people’s shoes.

What kind of mindset finds it acceptable to let a dog foul the pavement or park and then not clear it up? I have written to Cork City Council many times over the years asking them to do something about it, but nothing meaningful has been done.
