City shows no grit

THERE is no fear of Cork City Council running out of grit for the roads and footpaths during this cold snap — I think they must be saving it for when the weather improves.

However, a little bit of grit would have stopped two elderly Cork citizens falling flat on their faces on their way to mass last Wednesday morning.
