If only we had an Obama of our own

US PRESIDENT Barack Obama is young, dynamic, full of enthusiasm and has charisma that appeals to young and old regardless of race or colour.

He is a man of our times who realises the old ways no longer work in our society.

Change is needed everywhere and this exceptional man is willing to work as hard as he can to make a difference.

I wish we had a Barack Obama here in Ireland.

A modern, dynamic qualified person full of drive and vision, capable of realising Ireland’s potential and willing to work with the people towards a better future.

I would love to see the old system disappear and the we could all contribute to creating a new Ireland.

Should an Irish Obama emerge, many of us would do everything we could to help him to give the people of this country a brighter future.
