* Slow Food East Cork is hosting a Celebration of Irish Pork on Saturday, January 17. Learn about how the pigs at Ballymaloe Cookery School range freely, foraging for food. * The Four Rivers Convivium event promoting local pig farmers, will be held in the Arlington Lodge Hotel on the weekend of January 17. €30 for Slow Food members €35 for non-members.

* Slow Food East Cork is holding a Fun Cookery Class for Children at Ballymaloe Cookery School on Saturday, January 24, at 2pm. €20 members, 25 non-members.
