We need a farm-style cull of dodgy politicians
The endemic nature of corruption, extravagance and financial abuse among politicians and public officials surely justifies the public demanding a similar approach to rooting out all malefactors.
I see no reason why such people should not be subject to annual testing and random checks, with suspects immediately culled from public life without further ado.
For this abuse of public trust they should be made to pay restitution for the public money they have wasted, barred from further public service and their pensions confiscated.
We all know the current practice of those on the gravytrain is that they protect each other’s backs, obstruct the truth by setting up interminable inquiries and engage in lies and deceit. The corrosion of public confidence is a far greater threat to our society than bovine TB.
A cull is long overdue.
