THE four biggest banks in America currently have a deriviates exposure of $181 trillion (the Americian debt is over $10 trillion) Get the picture? Enough defaults and it’s all over.

So imagine an outside consortium that is part of this poison buying into Irish banks. We won’t be getting off at Cobh. There may be no escape, but at least we can choose our own demise.
