Farmers select wrong target when they take aim at ‘Brussels bureaucrats’

IRISH farmers in recent years have turned their ire against the EU.

The most frequent scapegoat for their continuing woes has been so-called “faceless Brussels bureaucrats”.

There is widespread frustration with the amount of red tape “handed down from Brussels”.
