THE recent decision to throw out hundreds of speeding cases before the district courts in Dublin once again highlights the way this country conducts — or misconducts — its affairs.

Going nowhere

Speeding is a major cause of our appalling road casualty figures.

The lack of enforcement by State agencies of various hues is a disgrace.

Will people resign because of this? Of course not.
