Lourdes has no cure for atheism

IN her report on Pope Benedict’s visit to Lourdes (September 16), Angela Doland sings one of the oldest refrains of the enemies of the shrine.

In fact she likes it so much that she sings two verses.

Verse 1: “The sanctuary reputed for its curative spring water.”
