Cromwell’s record

REGARDING the current two-part RTÉ series, Cromwell in Ireland, the following: Dr Micheál Ó Siochrú wants us to believe that innocent women and children were deliberately killed by Cromwell and his men at Drogheda.

I defy him to stop making glib (and general) appeals on behalf of the academic fraternity and produce the hard evidence instead. The descendants of those women and children would love to see it.
