Good and bad turns

I NOTE the new set of traffic lights on Merrion Road in Dublin to facilitate a right turn into the gigantic new Elm Park development.

Good and bad turns

These traffic lights cause disruption in both directions on a major Dublin commuter road, increasing travel times. However, my amazement relates to the fact that a right turn is not tolerated in any shape or form for the St Mary’s Centre for the Visually Impaired, a charity based directly beside the Elm Park development.

Why for one and not the other? I think we know.
