An insult to Ireland

I WONDER if Mr Sarkastic is being a little Sarkozy.

One EU commissioner might not be a bad idea. He or she would be permanent and would avoid the revolving Lisbon model.

Would not a single Herr Komissioner representing both Germany and France be more effective than the president of France’s attempt to take on a role as a founding father of his own pan-European dream?

Mr Sarkozy, belittling himself, was insulting Ireland in a spiteful way.
