Mission to Mongolia

OUR politicians really do have an aversion to doing things in the most cost-effective manner. It is easy to be this way when someone else’s money is paying for unnecessary trips abroad.

Six of our TDs are soon to venture forth into the wilds of Mongolia and beyond in a bid to impart advocacy skills. Better than that, these TDs hope to inform healthcare policy in the countries they visit.

Why not attend to the health chaos on their own doorstep?

I have heard no one ask how much these trips will cost the taxpayer here. Also, have these adventurers not heard of video-conferencing?
