Jesuit’s book is worth republishing

EARLIER in the year (January 15), you kindly published a letter in which I asked if any of your readers could make available to me books and other publications by my granduncle, Fr Edward Cahill SJ.

In particular I was seeking his seminal sociological work, The Framework of a Christian State, published in 1932, and which anticipated the 1937 Irish constitution based on referendum.

The response of your readers to my letter of appeal was most generous.
