Planning objection

I CAN only assume that the deafening silence that has greeted plans for Dublin’s Moore Street/O’Connell Street area is caused by deep shock.

Shock that such a ludicrous development would be considered for the centre of our capital city. As the organisation that won national monument status for 14-17 Moore Street, we feel the development is not in keeping and in no way respects the architectural and historical integrity of our city.

Its impact on the national monument is entirely inappropriate. The Save 16 Moore Street Committee will be formally objecting to the developer’s plan and would strongly urge likeminded individuals and groups to do likewise.
