Don’t destroy the people’s inheritance

THE glorious St Stephen’s Green in Dublin was given by Arthur Guinness to the people of Dublin for their enjoyment in 1880. Don’t destroy it.

A walk in the park brings feelings of calmness, peace and tranquillity. Beauty is all around and should not be trampled on. Culture cultivates the spirit. Don’t spoil people’s enjoyment.

Do they (the Metro planners) know what they are doing?

It is a crime against humanity to ruin what brings joy.

“Man, proud man, dressed in a little brief authority ... performs such fantastic tricks before high heaven as makes the angels weep.” (Shakespeare).

Don’t banjax Stephen’s Green.
