Double-take

SINCE hardly anybody knows what the EU Lisbon Reform Treaty is really all about (due to a poor campaign so far by both sides), a majority of voters may well decide to take the safe bet and vote no.

In that event, the Government will say “sorry, but ye got it wrong. Ye’ll have to do it again, but this time vote yes.”

And like the sheep we are, we’ll do as we’re told. Again.
