It could be worse

THERE’S a lot of buzz and media attention nowadays — and rightful public outrage, too — over corruption among politicians and the pay rises they recently awarded themselves.

But they’re not too bad compared to the situation in Italy or many other countries like it.

I’m glad to be living in a country where things are still relatively clean and crimes are still reasonably punished.
