Gridlocked nation

EIGHTY-FIVE years of independence, 15 years of boom with countless billions sloshing around: one truck breaks down and the capital city is gridlocked for over seven hours.

When asked for comment, the responsible authority, Dublin City Council replied: “Nothing to do with us, ask the gardaí.” (RTÉ News at One, December 17). Please Mugabe, come to Ireland and save us.
