Irish in no position to cry ‘send them home’

I WONDER sometimes why anti-immigration groups exist in Ireland.

Áine Ní Chonaill wrote what I would consider the most outrageous anti-Chinese rubbish I have ever read (Letters, December 13).

Why would she pick out the Chinese for special mention?

Ms Ní Chonaill should remember that thousands of Irish have lived and worked overseas for many years, illegal and legal.

We are in no position to judge others.

I have had the pleasure of working and living in China and I would suggest that she visits the country before she inflicts her intolerant views on the public.
