Smokescreen for the liberal agenda?

IN your editorial supporting same-sex marriage (November 3), you argue that everyone is entitled to have their human rights recognised and respected, and you seem to believe everyone should have the right to marry, even when that marriage is with someone of the same sex.

The right to same-sex marriage is arguable. What is surely not arguable is that everyone should have the right to life.

Yet, in the same editorial, you seem to be urging the Government to introduce laws that would legitimate the killing of the innocent child in the womb.

How can you logically argue in favour of a lesser right (if such exists) while denying the greater right (which certainly exists)?

Could it be that your use of the human rights argument is just a smokescreen for your promotion of the liberal agenda in all its forms?

Incidentally, I fully support your editorial advocating freedom of speech (November 12) and I look forward to seeing you put it into practice.
