Hidden History ‘propaganda’ on killing of brothers

A TIDAL wave of atrocity stories has resulted from the RTÉ Hidden History programme (October 23) on the 1921 execution of the Pearson brothers in Co Offaly.

These atrocity stories are bogus. Eoghan Harris’s salacious statement that the two men were shot “very deliberately, in the genitals, in their sexual parts, in their sexual organs” is false, as is the other atrocity propaganda put out by RTÉ.

Within days of the executions a British court forensically investigated the Pearson executions, taking evidence from police, eyewitnesses and medical experts.
