Great tenor deserves a capital gesture

LA BOHEME, I Pagliacci, Panis Angelicus — nothing fazed the great Luciano Pavarotti.

Handel’s Messiah was written in Dublin where it received its first performance.

Similarly, Pavarotti made his debut in Dublin.

Perhaps Sir Georg Solti could conduct Il Forza Del Destino as a tribute to Pavarotti in our capital city.

What a sublime memory that would be.
