Story of the otter hunt

I AM doing a survey of otter-hunting in Ireland covering its sustainability and markets. The culture of trapping otters for their fur ceased in 1976 when the first Wildlife Act became law.

I ask readers with memories or stories of the practice to write to me so that I can send them a short questionnaire.

Relatives of deceased hunters are also welcome to provide information.

Contributors can choose to be anonymous.

Those who give their names will be acknowledged in any article or publication that arises from the study.
