Scrap RTÉ and set up regional TV services

THE autumn schedule is now being shown on RTÉ and again we are subjected to the same old faces and programmes.

Why should the licence-holder contribute to a Dublin-orientated station which has become a very lucrative gravytrain for so-called celebrities within RTÉ.

This yearly sham must be ended and licence-payers should demand that RTÉ be dismantled and replaced by regional stations broadcasting material of real interest and value to viewers.
