Registers would help trace origins of diseases

WE welcome the initiative to have reporting of cancer mandatory and would also welcome the establishment of similar registers of asthma, diabetes and other chronic diseases.

These registers could include data relating to the nature and duration of exposure to such issues as chemicals, including pesticides and other chemicals, diet (including products of GMO origin) and also issues such as exposure to electromagnetic emissions and radiation in order more fully to elucidate the origins of these diseases.
