Privatising Aer Lingus - Voters gave Government the go-ahead

IT IS hard to imagine a more resounding expression of disappointment with the Government and with Aer Lingus than that revealed by today’s poll.

Nine out of 10 people say they want Aer Lingus to reverse the decision to end the Shannon to London service.

Amazingly, for a Government that assumed power a mere two months ago, only 10% of the people surveyed say they are in any way satisfied with how the administration has handled the issue.
