TDs must remember their commitment to Tara

The latest saga takes place in the hallowed walls of the Oireachtas as we rejoin our TDs to find how deep their commitment to Tara goes.

Will our new Ceann Comhlaire Tony Gregory forget his fundamental principles? Will the Greens forget their Green Valley in search of power? What will happen to Labour’s passion for Tara as they swim with the sharks? Will anyone ever talk to the Shinners? And what will they say other than ‘yes’?

In a Dáil where 31 of the 37 swinging seats have made a commitment to rerouting the M3 motorway, with one uncertainty, is this a done deal? Or what value do these parties and TDs really put on our heritage?
