YOU quote Michael McDowell (Irish Examiner, April 5) accusing Enda Kenny in the Dáil of having a “bad hair day”.

While, superficially, the remark was childish, it revealed the same nasty streak that characterised a Fine Gael frontbencher as Goebbels-like last year.

In view of his attitude to cosmetic changes, does the Tánaiste also deplore the Taoiseach’s waste of taxpayers’ money on make-up artists who cost us €500 per week.
