Numbers matter

WELL done to former Labour Party leader Dick Spring, the first public figure to admit the immigration debate is primarily about numbers.

Enda Kenny’s call for “a debate” was almost entirely about integration and avoided the crunch question.

We’re constantly told we must avoid the mistakes of other countries in regard to immigration, but the main mistake they made was to allow in excessive numbers.
