Sir Hugh’s next call

THE call by Gerry Adams to republicans to cooperate with the PSNI in relation to the killing of Robert McCartney, following that of Chief Constable Sir Hugh Orde, is to be welcomed.

Perhaps Sir Hugh might now make a similar call on those PSNI/RUC members who were in Portadown when Robert Hamill was killed by a loyalist mob in front of RUC personnel.
