DERMOT DESMOND would have done himself a favour if he had kept his mouth shut and not publicly responded to the Moriarty Tribunal Report.

As it is, what people now see is one member of the golden circle defending another.

As regards Mr Desmond’s denial of any impropriety, I would just quote the legendary Mandy Rice-Davis: “Well he would, wouldn’t he?”
