Not a bright idea

THE letter from Michael Job headlined ‘Why we need more pubs in rural areas’ (Irish Examiner, November 14) has to be among the silliest ever written.

Not a bright idea

Great idea, Mr Job. Why not build a pub on every street corner? Then the folks could walk or use a bicycle to get to it.

Of course he omits to mention that patrons would be staggering back home or cycling erratically and could easily wind up as road kill.
