Regatta organisers insult honest taxpayers

Regatta organisers insult honest taxpayers

Every penny spent in developing Dingle came from the pockets of honest taxpayers. Unlike Mr Haughey in his day, these good citizens accept that taxes are a crucial factor in maintaining essential services for the less well off and providing funds for the development of such places as Dingle.

It is also disturbing that a State ship, the LE Orla, was used in the tribute to this disgraced politician to entertain the Haughey party at taxpayers’ expense.
