Free movement for pensioners

HURRAH! It’s after taking more than 30 years for the Government to remove very tight restrictions on the so-called free travel pass.

The initiative for pensioners was virtually useless because they couldn’t travel at the most important times. But from September 15 free travel pass-holders will be truly free for the first time.

And all for the sake of just €2 million annually.
