Cullen’s response to road deaths a disgrace

TRANSPORT Minister Martin Cullen’s response to the failure of his Government to tackle the ongoing carnage on our roads is a disgrace.

It is no good blaming individuals who have never been trained to do the task in the first place — and this is nearly all drivers.

Even those who have taken lessons will typically take only two or three to cram for a test universally regarded as mediocre at best.
